2023 Year End Letter

The over 7,000 injured, sick, oiled, and orphaned wildlife patients we received in 2023, are why we do what we do, but YOU are the how.  You are the essential piece of the puzzle that allows a space to heal Orange County wildlife--and to make this all imaginable.  We are reaching out so that you may consider the Wetlands and Wildlife Care Center as you make your year-end donations.  Every dollar raised goes towards out annual operating budget of $850,000 and can help save the lives of thousands of animals.

As we rapidly approach the end of 2023, we are excited and eager to welcome a new year with bright horizons focused on the future.  I, however, would love to encourage some moments of reflection – to look back on what the Wetlands & Wildlife Care Center has done for the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native wildlife fighting to survive in human dominated areas.  Thousands of animals have thrived this year due to your generous donations.  Their future is in your hands.

Thank you, Wetlands & Wildlife Care Center family, for all that you helped with in 2023 and all that we are hoping for in 2024.

With Gratitude,

Debbie McGuire
Executive Director at WWCC
